On September 17, 2016, thousands of people flocked the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City for the first weekend of the 37thManila International Book Fair. MIBF is the biggest gathering of book publishers, authors and book lovers, with thousands of textbooks, fiction books and other educational materials are available in one place.
Pocholo “The VoiceMaster” Gonzales had his book launching and signing at the Psicom booth, as he released his second book entitled “Gusto Kong Maging Voice Talent,” the first-ever voice acting book in the Philippines. The book provides a roadmap to building a successful voice acting career – from developing one’s voice to setting up a recording studio. It is the VoiceMaster’s gift to the voice acting industry and those who aspire to be part of it, in celebration of his 20th year in the industry.
Dozens of voice acting enthusiasts, young and old, lined up to buy their own copy and have it signed by the VoiceMaster. Not only did they get their copies signed, but they also had the chance to have selfies with the VoiceMaster and of course, to hear a “sample” of his voice acting prowess!
There was an overwhelming support for the launch of the VoiceMaster’s book from his family and friends from Creativoices, Voice of the Youth Network, the Microphone Club, and even his fellow motivational speakers.
After the book fair, “Gusto Kong Maging Voice Talent” will be released in all leading bookstores nationwide at a retail price of Php 175.
